Vancouver Trip :D day four and five
Day Four: Monday June 13
The day started off with us not really caring about what time to wake up, but we knew we needed to be down at the lobby by 8:30 am. So we got the wake up call at like 7:30 or so but since we were dead tired from sleeping at like 3 we didn’t really notice or care of the wake up. then at like 8 I woke up to see the time and was like “guys it’s 8!” So we all woke up and got ready in the fastest time and went down to the lobby. We were heading off to lynn canyon suspension bridge. And like you know we were kinda rushing and not really thinking straight of what to wear so Tiff and I was wearing shorts and like a tank or so. But we brought jeans, but we didn’t bring our north faces. On the way there it starts to like rain and we’re like … why?
So we were kinda weather retarded and we were in flip flops not knowing we needed to like hike. We ended up soaking wet and our feet pretty dirty. And it was too cold to go down into the water. Afterward the girls went into the bathroom took up the sinks and washed our feet. Then we went around Stanley park and took pictures with different things. It was pretty fun but the weather was so bad. It would rain on the day we decide to go hike and to the park. But like no one really wanted to get off the bus to take pictures since it was cold and wet. Afterward we all went to different groups and decided where to go and a group of us went to eat Mongolian food. And the funniest thing happened.
So like I was drinking the soup after thinking it will be alright. But it wasn’t and i blunted out loud ” it tastes like water” and then quickly grabbed my water to make a nice save. After that chilled around with Althea, Chris, and Kevin at the hotel then went out to look. hang before going to the sushi place for dinner. And we got to sit on a boat! Even though ordering and waiting for the food took some time. After that went back to the hotel and just chilled there. Took some time finding the bus stop but you know it was a good walk walking back the streets like 3 times to burn off what we ate.Then we had to like get the paddles from everyone and pack them too.
Day five: Tuesday June 14
The last day in Vancouver! So we had some time before we had to be back in the hotel and leave. And since Ellen had to give her dad the paddles we had to be back by 2. Woke up around 8ish or so and got ready to go to Metromall. It was a fun bus ride there with Denise and Thomas and the smores and freshman Eric. (Man I don’t want to call us juniors) anyways the bus ride there was pretty long but it was alright. We got there and the first thing we went to was Urban Behavior. We spent so much time there well just the girlies ( TIff, Vicky and Ellen, and I) the roomies. The guys went off to look around I guess and when they came back we still weren’t done yet. But we all got things so it was all good. Afterward we just walked some more around the stores before we rode the skytrain back to the hotel.
So we got back to the hotel just thinking of only bringing the paddles down but no we had to bring everyone’s luggage down to the lobby too. And it was only us girlies plus chris yee, ricky, and eric tong. So at least there were some guys unlike last time when it was us girl bringing the paddles up with our luggage. Then afterward Eileen and them came back and helped us with it too. But we were almost done. At least they helped.Then we waited for the bus to go to the airport. And TIff and I were hungry since we didn’t eat anything. So we ate when we were all checked in. Then we walked around the place with Lucy in the beginning to look around the place. We ate a breakfast wrap even though it wasn’t breakfast. Then we walked around comparing prices of moose cause we wanted to buy one and which ones were cuter. And we also bought maple taffy. Afterward we got ready to board the plane and it seating was Tiff, Vicky, and me. It was fun riding the plane back to SF with them. And our moose had their own seats too.
Overall the Vancouver Trip was one adventure filled with unforgettable, fun. exciting memories. The start of the LDB summer trips. ♥
